The Morven Hills Station clip this year is an exceptionally good one, and the averace of the 48,000 sheep shorn at the first shearing is 9.}lb. According to the Daily Times the demand for grazing country in the vicinity of Masterton continues unabated. It is reported that several southern buyers with ready cash are on the look-out for properties suitable for sheep farming, A farmer on the Sutherland Eoad (says the Waimate Witness) has refused an offer of £4O an acre.
