PLOUGH TRIAL.
o A trial of the Massey Harris three-furrow-diso plough was held on the farm of Mr James Reid, Arrow, on Monday last. Un-. -fortunately the weather did not permit of the trial on Saturday as advertised. Notwith-. standing the brief notice a goodly number of farmers availed themselves of the trial on Monday. The Company's representative. Mr 11. Hosio, and the local agent, Mr R J. Cottar, wore present. The trial was made on red and stubble land, and the implement, in eharga of Mr John Iteid, was worked well and to the utmost satisfaction of all present. At intervals during the trial, Mr Hosiß explained the different parts and information was readily grasped by the onlookers. A feature in the trial was the capital work done on the stubble, the latior being completely covered. The plough is much stronger and heavier than anything of the kind yet imported to the district. She is fitted with ball-bearings, and this, together with broad wheels, ensures smoothness of running. Several orders for ploughs were booked on the ground.
