SHEEP WORRYING.

£SOO To £6OO Loss. One of the most serious sheep-worrying cases on record recurred on Mr Alex. Beanee's Owaro Bank Farm during the nighb of Tuesday-Wednesday. Their bodies flammed up the water until it fathered volume enough to burstthrougn the barrier. In one hole 125 carotwoa were found, and 70 were got on Mr U. Muir's, a mile down stream. Carcases 'were neon in the Wyndham River, a distance of five miles away, and certainly a 2 reaf, many more must have been carried by these tributary streams into the Mataura. The carouses recovered arc being gkiDHetUuud the y;>luu of the skins will go

in reduction of the loss. Making every allowance, Mr Beango's loss must bo between £SOO and £OOO. Wo feel sure that there is not a man in tho district but will sympathise with Mr Beaugo in his misfortuno. Wyndhani Herald.
