Purple Top Mammoth FOR FATTENING LAMBS. [Specimen Testimonial.] Ryal Bush Southland, N.Z.. 28th May, 1904. Messrs 10THILL LIMITED, Invercargill. Dear Sirs, —1 wish to advise you that List year your Mr Taylor advised me to sow '•SUTTON'S PURPLE TOP MAMMOTH" for lamb teed instead of RAPE, and I sowed in the middle of November 16 acres with Purple Top Mammoth Seed (which I ob taiued from you) in broad cast drill with two cwt of artificial manure to the acre. It was the very tinest crop I have ever had or semi and for feeding I never saw the like. The tops alone are equal to a good crop of Rape, and after the turnips were broken by the lambs the field was just one white shee'. Before Harvest I put on 293 lambi and since then I put on 40 old ewes, and on 2nd May I put on 53 ewes and I ram and they have not yet eaten more than the half of the 10 acres. 1 have always found that Sutton's Seeds were most reliable and good and I consider any small extra cost is well spent money. It only amounts to a Lw shillings per annum and it is a great tiling for a farmer to be cure that the seed he sows is the best he can get. Yours, faithfully, (Signed) Thomas Hodokinson, Wilson's Crossing.
