CRICKET. A cricket match between the Skippers Ist eleven and Queenstown 2nd eleven was played at Queenstown last Saturday, Queenstown winning by 57 runs on the second innings. The Queenstown team declared their 2nd innings closed when they had scored lOC runs, having, however, three wickets to fall. In the Ist innings both tennis did very poorly with the bat, but in the 2nd Queenstown seemed to do what they liked with the bowling. Messrs Mehaffey and Ward captained the Queenstown and Skippers teams respectively. Scores : QUEENSTOWN —Ist Tunings. C. Kcay, e and b Davis 0 A. Webb, b Dollim jre 0 J.
