Lo.vdov, March 27. The Times says that President Kruger and President Steyn, of the Orange Free State, have entered into an offensive and defensive alliance. Private letters are being received from colonists warning England that grave events are pending at the Cape, and it is thought possible a Boer and Afrikander rising will take place against the British at no distant date.
