Lake Excursion.—The Wakatipu S.S.. Go’s Mountaineer, will make-ao excursion to Here- Lake, .Greenstone Riven, and Glenorchy on St.. Wesleyan Church.—The musical evening in connection with the above, promises to be a great success. The musical programme is a good one, including several pretty choruses by juvenile voices, solos, quartets,, choruses by leading amateurs, and recitations. Cricket Club Concert.—The- programme for this concert is advertised in this issue. Deceased gentleman was operated-' on at noon yesterday by Dr Dutton for an inward complaint, and although he apparently recovered from the operation, he succumbed at 1 a.nu Baud at Skjpbers. —By advertisement in this issue it will be seen that there is to be a ball (in aid of the school funds), at Skippers Point on the 2Dth, and we have every reason to-believe that it will be a great success .

Presbyterian Church.— On Sunday, the Rev R. H. Blair] will preach, at Gibbston 11, Arrowtown 2.30, and Queenstown 7. In future, on every fourth Sunday from March 15, the service at Arrowtown will be in the afternoon. Service will.be held,at Frankton at 3.
