Cricket.
At Queenstown on Saturday a friendly match came off between Arrow and Queenstown, resulting in a win for the former by 59 runs on the first innings. Arrow in their first venture scored 85 {lnglis 42, Porter 12). Queenstown followed with 26 (Robertson Iff). On the call of time, the visitors completed, their second innings for 31. As will bo seen from the bowling statistics, some good performances were made with the ball on both sides ; the most noteworthy being—for the home team, Gardiner 5 wickets for 6 runs, Mehaffey 5 for 13; and for the visitors, Thomson 2 for 3, Perrelle 4 for 5.
