THE SCHOOLS.

MILLER’S FLAT SCHOOL. (Inspected March 23rd, 1892.) Clashes—Pr.paratory, Standards I, 111, and TV. Miss King, teacher. The attendance at this school continues to be extremely discouraging ; for the current quarter the average attendance up to date is a trifle over seven out of a roll number of 14. Such a state of things must paralyse the best efforts of a teacher. Miss King conducts the school in accordance with a suitable time table. She uses good methods and applies them with considerable skill. Her pupils appear to be for the most part industrious and obedient, and they are on good terms with their teacher. James Hexdky, Inspector.
