At th« Premier, Macntown, the company are crushing away with rive heads, which they will continue to do so long as the water lasts. It may be remarked that the supply of v/ater is holding out better than it has done for years at this season. The reef is continuing in size and quality. What is known as No. 4 tunnel lias now been driven 100 ft alomj the line of reef, which is 3ft thick, and shows signs of permanency.
