Wo shall always endeavour to insert letters in the first issue after their receipt but do not guarantee their appearance in the earliest publication. Letters for insertion must be addressed to the Editor, and all business communications to the Proprietor, Lake County Fkks.h. Hints to Correspondents. The following memoranda are submitted to correspondents of the Press as suggestive of subjects upon which communications arc desired : Progress and Settlement in the district ; Progress of Public Works, Nevr Buildings, &c. Agricultural Operations ; State of Crops ; Introduction or Salo of Stock, &c. Horticultural and Floricultunl. Suggestions as to what Industries might Profitably be Undertaken in the district. Accidents and Offences. State of Roads, Bridges, &c. Publie Wants and Grievances. All communications should ba written on one side of the paper only entertainment reports.
