The extract of fchi Eucalyptus Globulus, manufactured solely by Messrs Sanger and Sans- Sandhurst, recommends itself by the following declaration amd testimonials Epitome of dtclaration made before Moritz Colin, J.P., on the 17th October, 1877, at Sandhurst: —Three medical genth men had attended the son of Mr Baabe, uf Iron bark, for nine weeks, and dt dared that amputation of the leg injured by an axe was absolutely meet-saw. At this juncture Mr Kaabe culled in Messrs Sander and Sons, procuring some of their Extract of the Eucalyptus Globulus, and by the application of the same he had the satisfaction of seeing his son within a fortnight out of cil'daujer, and he has now quite recovered. Sandhurst, 2nd October, 1877. In November Mr Beeves, from the Rifleman's Arms, Back Creek, brought in- j formation of a cure of delirium caused by ' sunstroke, which took place in the family I of Mr Ryan, butcher, of Back Creek. The wife of Mr Fiektl suffered in the bend of the knee from a swelling which had formed a lump of considerable size, disabling her frem attending to any work. She removed the swelling completely by a continued application of the extract. The Donald Times, of Ist December, 1877, states: —" Last week the eldest boy of Mr Morgan awoke in the n'ght crying with earache. Tiie extract was applied, and the littie fellow was cured and asleep in ten minutes. Mr French, of Conrack station, suffered from had earache and paiDs m the head. Two dr"ps of the extract were put in the <ar and some rubbed round the ear, and the pain instantly disappeared. Mr L'roker, at Mount Jcffcotr, was laid up fo l- near.y a fortnight wi'hinflammation < of the eye?, and was in great agony. The extract wus used, and in a lew days the inflamination disappeared. The Evening Times has reported cures of neuralgia, by the use of the extract, at Geelong. The extract, which is of a brilliant yellow color, and need not be confounded with the turpentine like preparation of the gum that is to be .found in the trade, has been applied, with marked beneficial effect, tn severe spiaius, all sorts ot wounds, cuts, scaldings ; and its chief property —namely, to check all inflamma. tion—accouuts for the cures referred to.
