PURSUANCE of the Regulations of Elections Act, IS7O, I, Richmond Beetham, Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Walcatipu, do hereby give notice that, by virtue of a Writ bearing date the sixth day of February, 1872, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an ELECTION will be hold for the return of one qualified person to serve as Member of the House of Representatives for the said Electoral District: And that the NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES will take place at the Court-house, Queenstown, at Noon on the 9th day of March, 1872 j and that the POL p, if necessary, will be taken on the 13th day of March, 1872.
