ROTARY

Memories^'of a visit to North America was the subject of a talk given by the Rev. J. H. Cable to the weekly meeting of the Queenstown Rotary Club. Speaking with vivid recollections of many interesting features of the principal towns of Canada, the speaker received a very attentive hearing and was accorded a very hearty vote of thanks at the conclusion of his address. A letter was received by Rotarian Anderson, in his capacity as Mayor, from a German in the Russian zone in Germany appealing for food parcels. —The matter was referred to the International Committee. The overseas toast—a London club — was given by Mr J. Keen. Visitors present were Messrs R. L. Drummond, Whangarei, and W. A. Brown, Invercargill.
