Regatta Club.
A meeting of the Regatta Club was held in the Library on Thursday : present Messrs W, W. L. Bradly, Tui McEwin, G. Constable, Jno. Constable W. Scott, W. Milward, G. Cox, J. A. Wilson and F. Tucker. The balance sheet, "which showed a credit of L 49 Ils9d, was adopted, The chief items were Boat fares £32 18s 6d, subscriptions £24 3s bd, nominations, etc £12 3s 6d, On the expenditure side were steamer hire £28 los Od, Prizes and trophies £15 4s, Band £8 18s 6d, printing £7 13s 2d. The following officials were elected for the ensuing year • —Commodore, Mr Gordon Coates M.P.; Vice-Com-modores, Messrs J. A. Wilson and R. Penton ; Treasurer, Mr Tui McEwin ; Secretary, Mr F. Tucker ; Committee, Captain Sellars, Messrs W. W. L. Bradly, Tui McEwin, J. A. Wilson, G. Constable, Jno. Constable, W. Scott, G. Cox and W. Milward. It was decided to appoiut a SubCommittee to enquire into the question of a Landing Stags at Shelly Beach and they to report to the Committee as to the best and the cheapest means, the sub-Committee to be Captain Sellars, W, W. L. Bradly and the Secretary.
