Proposed Sunday Train.

At last meeting of the Kaipara Chamber of Commerce, reports tho l)argavil] e Times, the Helonsville Town Board sought tho co-operation of the Chamber in getting a return Sunday milk-train rim between HelensviUe and Auckland in the dairying in torests and that of the hot springs. The chairman and Air Jones both spoko strongly in support, of the proposal with which the Chamber expressed full sympathy. The Chairman moved that a reply be sent to the HelensviUe Town Board stating that this Chamber of Commerce heartily widorseSs the suggestion to run trains through between Holensville and Auckland on Sunday and it will request the County Council to forward a resolution to the Government in accordance with this. (Curried.) A sequa! reeolutiun that the aocre tary bo instructed to write to the Hobson County Council and the Dargaville Borough Council requesting tlieir support and co operation in the matter was also carried.

The Hobson County Council decided to take same line of action as taken by the Chamber of Commerce, Cr Dargaville explaining the reasons for adopting that particular course. Council in full sympathy with the project.
