At the 3rd Annual meeting of the above company held on Dec. 22nd last the following report was read by the chairman Mr A. M. Skeats:—The sales during the period have nearly reached £3000 which shows a good increase over the previous year. This year we have engaged extra travellers and expect to do a much larger business during the coming 12 months. During the year your Erectors effected the sale of the Khyber Pass Property at a satisfactory price and leased about 7 acres on the Great South Eoad for a ne,w Nursery site. This property, which is close to the Eemuera Railway Station has been secured on lease on very favourable terma to the Company and has all been got in order and we are expecting very good results from our revenue. The position is right and the soil is suitable while from our advertising point of view, the position is a splendid one and should prove of immense benefit to the Company. We have also provided up'to-date glass houses and packing and office arrangementswhich will greatly facilitate the prompt despatch of orders. The Helensville^Branch Nursery is looking very well,; This season has been very favourable and we have had a splendid percentage in the Nursery Stock. Here we had a large quantity of young stuff coming on and wa are expecting that this branch will be able to supply us with a large quantity of ourrequhements for next winter. Our outside purchases during the year have not been so heavy as previous years and we hope to gradually reduced purchases year by year and croduce Nursery Stock of high grade in wholesale quantities at Auckland and Helensville.
