(Received July 10, 1 a.m.) 10 p.m. The Assembly is still sitting, the House being in Committee on the Customs Bill. The galleries have been closed. The point has been raised that there is no House, os the Speaker did not take the chair to day. Great confusion exists in the Chamber, Messrs Shepherd and Wisdom are suspended for disorderly conduct. (Received July 10, 1.10 p.m.) July 10, 12.1 a.m. The Legislative Assembly is still sitting, and it is thought probable it will continue to do so until Tuesday next. Several scenes of great confusion occurred, during which members threaten one another with personal violence, and at times the House has been a perfect babel. Melbourne, July 9. The steamship Tarawera arrived from the Bluff this morning.
