Sailed, yesterday afternoon, the Hauroto, for Wellington. Id the Legislative Assembly last evening, a resolution authorising the construction of a railway through Circular Quay was passed by 53 to 13. Adelaide, October 22. In the House of Assembly last night a lengthy debate took place on Mattinson's motion reflecting upon the action of the Minister of Public Works in distnismissing Thow, the locomotive superintendent. A division, however, was avoided by the House adopting unanimously an amendment by a motion moved by a Government supporter. Melbourne, October 21. Sailed, this afternoon, the Union steamship Tarawera, for the Bluff.
