Time 2mins. i Rapid made ths running for some time, Yately close up. The latter soon assumed the lead, followed by Helene and Battelious. Coming into the straight Blink Bonny and Lord Wilton took a forward position, and Yately succumbed. Blink Bonny ran through the field, and won easily by two lengths, Lord Wilton a length ahead of Vergy. Martini-Henry wa3 nowhere throughout the race.
