IE MAKARINI SCHOLARSHIPS. ■m 'Two Scholarships of the yearly value of *35 a each, to be held at the Native College, Te Aute, Hawke's Bay, are offered for competition to Maori youths, on the conditions laid down in the Regulations of the Trustees of To Makarini Scholarships Fund, as printed in the Nativo Schools Code, 18S4. The examination will be held at convenient centres 31 on the 11th and 15th December, 1885. i Candidates must, either directly or through m their teachers, send notice to the Inspector of a Native Schools, Education Department, WellingSton, of their intention to present themselves for Is examination. Such notice must bo posted not later than the 31st October next.
