MR. SAVAGE'S OPERATION

YESTERDAY’S BULLETIN.

REASSURING REPORT. The Prime Minister, Mr. Savage, ■spent a comfortable week-end following his operation in the Lewisham Hospital on Friday. A bulletin issued at eight o’clock last night by his medical advisers, Dr. J. Robert Boyd and Mr. E. Gordon Anderson, stated that Mr. Savage had had a very comfortable day and that he was progressing as well as could be expected. Mr. Savage also spent a comfortable day on Saturday. The bulletin issued yesterday morning stated that he had had a good night, with many spells of uninterrupted sleep. His condition then was reported to be more reassuring. Mr. Savage has not yet progressed sufficiently to receive visitors.
