DOMINION COURT

CENTENNIAL EXHIBITION. . RESPONSE OF LOCAL BODIES. MANY DECLINE TO CONOf 77 local bodies in the Auckland provincial district, excluding North Auckland, which were asked to contribute on a proportional basis to the cost of the Dominion Court at the Centennial Exhibition, 48 have paid or promised the full amount of their assessment.

In addition contributions have been received from the Auckland and Te Awamutu Electric Power. Boards, the Auckland Harbour Board and the Auckland Transport Board. Ten local bodies have paid or promised sums less than the amount assessed, and 19 have refused to make any contribution.
