DANGER OF ICE CREAM

HITLER YOUTH MOVEMENT. MUST NOT INDULGE WHILE IN UNIFORM. Millions of boys and girls in the Hitler Youth movement have been forbidden to eat ice cream cones in streets while in uniform. During the heat wave in Germany during the last few days ice cream cones were popular with little children wearing uniforms of the Young Folks or clad in blue shirts and white blouses of the German Girl bund.

They were told by their superiors that such behaviour is not in conformity with the dignity of the Hitler Youth uniform. The new ruling provides that if a youngster not in uniform sees another in uniform eating an ice cream cone in the street he is entitled to take it away from him or her.
