PERSONAL NOTES. (Own Correspondent.) Mrs. Suckling, of Tapuwae, will leave shortly on a visit to Christchurch. Miss Ana Boyes returned to Wellington by the Limited express on Friday evening-. Friends and relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Hunter, of Mangapehi, will be pleased to know that Mr. Hunter, who has been seriously ill, is now on the road to recovery. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Halcombe and infant son, who have been spending a few days with Mr. Halcombe's mother at Pongakawa, have returned home. Mr. J. Barlow, of England, and his nephew, who have just returned via National Park from a very successful fishing trip to Taupo and its environs, brought back to their friends a number of very fine trout. Mr. Barlow greatly admired Lake Taupo and the beauty of the golden broom mirrored in the clear watsrs. On his tour he secured a number of photographs which he will take back with him to the Old Country. Mrs. Maloney has returned home after being several weeks in hospital at Hamilton..
