The fact that the. objective of £300,000 . which the Presbyterian Church set itself as a Cetenary thanksgiving effort had been more than half realised was announced by the convener of the thanksgiving fund committee, Mr. S. J. Harbutt, at the General Assembly. Mr. Harbutt said the total amount promised and gathered up to the present was. £153,000.
