FALLS OF SNOW
NOTED IN HIGH COUNTRY. Heavy falls of snow occurred on the higher portions of the Northern King Country during the week-end. On -the Rangitoto ranges snow could be seen lying in thick drifts, and the hills to the west west also showed white on Sunday. No snow fell at Waimiha, but fairly heavy falls occurred a little distance away.
