STATE RENTAL HOUSES

APPLiCATIONS FOR TENANCY. An advertisement by the State Advances Corporation appears in today's issue reminding intending applicants that applications for the renting of State rental houses should be lodged without delay. The local officer for the Corporation stated yesterday that as the houses are nearing completion, the investigation of the applications by the State Advances Corporation is proceeding. It is, therefore, in the interests of intending applicants to have their applications lodged without delay.

Further, while the houses are not for sale and will be let on a weekly basis tenants will be assured of permanency of possession subject' to compliance with the conditions of the tenancy. The local officer added that there were no income restrictions and any person was eligible to apply.
