WOMEN'S INSTITUTE

MAPIU BRANCH. Mrs. Stanton presided over a fair attendance at the May meeting of the Mapiu Women’s Institute. Final arrangements for the annual dance were made, and much fun and excitement were caused in the playing of a game called “Housey.” Mrs. J. Gernhoefer was the winner of the knitting competition, and Miss M. Crosby second.

The hostesses for the afternoon were Mrs. A. Andrew and Mrs. Mcßeth.
