WAIRERE ELECTRIC POWER BOARD. NOTICE OF INTENTION TO BORROW. TN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in - it by "The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925," the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926," "The Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926," and Amendments thereof, the Wairere Electric Power Board hereby gives Public Notice that it proposes to raise a Special Loan of Three thousand pounds (£3000) for the purposes of Improvements to' Generating Plant and Headworks and provision for Standby Plant at the Board's Generating Station, Wairere Falls, Pio Pio; pursuant to the consent to the loan given by the Local Government Loans Board at a meeting of that Board held on 13th October, 1936. It is proposed to pay the cost of raising the Loan out of the Loan. The proposed security for the payment of interest, repayment of principal and other charges of the said Loan is a Special Rate of One Farthing (Id.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Constituent Districts of Waitomo County and Clifton County within the Wairere Power Board District. It is proposed to make such Loan repayable over twenty-five (25) years by equal yearly or half-yearly Redemptions of Principal. Dated at Pio Pio this 11th day of February, 1937. R. TN pursuance of Section 11 of "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1926," and Section 51 of "The Electric Power Boards Act, 1925," Public Notice is hereby given that a Poll of Ratepayers of the Wairere Electric Power District referred to above, will be taken at the undermentioned Polling Booths on Wednesday, the 17th day of March, 1937, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.:— Waitomo County Council Office, Te Kuiti.
