OTOROHANGA SALE. Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report having held their usual sale at Otorohanga on the 24th inst., when a small yarding of sheep and cattle came forward. Our penning of sheep consisted of lambs, for which there was a steady market, firm at late ruling rates. The cattle yarding consisted of boner cows and bulls which sold readily in a rather firmer market. The pig market was sound, on a par with outside markets. Quotations: Fair to good S.D. lambs 17s lid; ewe lambs to 255; medium store lambs 14s 9d, small sorts 9s Id to 11s 6d; light fat Jersey cows £3 7s to £3 12s 6d; boners £1 19s to £2 10s; rough cows with calves £4 4s; potter bulls £3 to £4; good baconers £3 6s 6d to £3 7s; light porkers 31s to 37s 6d; weaners 12s to 15s.
