The Japanese are nothing if not thorough. True to their reputation, they are already on the job in preparation for the 1940 Olympic Games, which are to be held in Tokio, and they evidently intend using every means possible to make - a big success of the great international gathering. Some evidence of this is contained in a Christmas card received by the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association from the Amateur Athletic Federation of Japan.
