Herr Hitler called his war chiefs to a secret conclave and, it is rumoured, the following two matters were discussed:—(l) The probability of Hitler making the Minister of Air, General Goering, Chancellor, while he himself remains leader. (2) A foreign adventure which concerns the army. It is rumoured that there is grave unrest in Germany because of the food shortage.
