FRENCH OLYMPIC TEAM
RECEIVE THIRD OF GOVERNMENT GRANT. SPORTSMEN FIND BALANCE. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 8.55 a.m.) Paris, July 22. As a result of frantic negotiations necessitated by more important business in the Chamber of Deputies causing a shelving of the Bill appropriating £13,333 for the transport and expenses of the Olympic team to the Sports Federation, the Under-Secre-tary of Physical Education obtained only one-third of the amount from the Foreign Ministry. Sportsmen will contribute the balance. The team will leave for Berlin on July 29.
