INDIAN CRICKETERS

DEFEAT OF LANCASHIRE.

HOME SIDE'S COLLAPSE-

(Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11.40 a.m.) London, July 17.

India won their cricket match with Lancashire by 84 runs. In their first innings India made 271 runs, to which Lancashire replied with 234. India in their second knock scored 161, leaving Lancashire faced with the task of compiling 199 for a win. C. K. Naidu proved too deadly with his bowling, however, and largely as a result of his taking six wickets for 46, India won the game with 84 runs in hand.
