AMY MOLLISON
GOOD PROGRESS REPORTED. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 12 Noon.) London, May 11. The Times Salisbury correspondent states that after leaving Johannesburg, Amy Mollison lost her way owing to the heavy clouds and strongwinds and landed at Umtali. A local pilot supplied the bearings, enabling her to land at Salisbury at 11.30. She passed over Broken Hill at a great height at 3.45 p.m. and will spend the night at Npika, Northern Rhodesia, if she arrives before dark, otherwise at Kanona, where there is a good landing ground. Amy received a cable at Johannesburg from Sinor Balbo permitting her to fly over Italian territory if necessary.
