Drovers in the Wairoa district have been kept exceptionally busy lately, as there has been a considerable movement of cattle southwards. The cattle are in excellent condition, as there is an abundance of feed everywhere. One drover told a Napier resident recently that while there is jubilation on all sides regarding the coming of the trains between Wairoa and Napier the drovers feel that there will not the drovers are not as pleased, as they feel that there will not be anything like the demand for their services once the trains are running.
