ROYAL RECEPTION
ALL BLACKS INTRODUCED. TO PRINCE OF WALES. (Press Association. —Copyright.) (Received 12 noon.) London, November 8. "They look a,. healthy, athletic team," said the Prince of Wales to Mr. Meredith when he received the All Blacks at York House. Mr. Meredith introduced the players, with whom the Prince of Wales chatted for half an hour and talked especially to Mr. Meredith and Manchester for ten minutes, and several minutes with the rest and with Oliver. The latter, whom Mr. Meredith introduced as the vice-captain, was previously in England with Lowry's team. The Prince of Wales said to Page: "You are no stranger to Britain. I hear you were at Sandhurst." The Prince sympathised with the players who were injured, and hoped the team was enjoying the visit. The All Blacks stated after the reception that the Prince speedily made all feel at home, and the reception was delightfully informal. One added: "It is easy to understand why His Royal Highness is so popular." Dean Prenderville Wilkins, President of the London Union, and Dr. Cargill, President of the Middlesex Union, accompanied the party. Hampshire-Sussex Match. The Hampshire-Sussex team has been selected as follows: J. Ronald, B. Cowey, I. Wilson, A. Hodges, G. Dundon, W. Anderson, G. Dean, C Owen, D. Tarr, V. Pike, A. Boast, C Wallis, D. Kemp, P. Hordern, and N. Newton. The All Blacks' team to play against Hampshire and Sussex is as follows:—Gilbert; Hart, Oliver, Ball; Caughey, Page; Corner; Lambourne, Dalton, Hore; King, Collins, McKenzie, Manchester; McLean.
