DRIVE IN OGADEN

(Received 11.20 a.m.) London, November 8. , Mogadiscio despatches announce the fall of the defensive.keystone to Ogaden, Gorohai, as a result of General' Grazian's concerted drives northwards from Cappapo on Webbe Shebeli and southwards from Gerlogubi, clearing the line of the northward advance along the Fafan River bed towards Sasabanch. Dedjasmatch Afework died of wounds following an Italian bombardment on the retreat from Gorahai to Magabur, when, scores of planes dropped thousands of bombs, destroying many buildings. The victors found quantities of materials, ammunition and stores in the fortified zone, consisting of an elaborate trench system with concrete reinfocements, pill boxes for machine guns, and camouflaged pits to entrap tanks.
