STRENGTHENING WORK IN PROGRESS.
ITALIAN INTEREST.
(Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 11.20 a.m.) Rome, September 2. The Italian Press is most interested in the strengthening of the defences at Malta where plans are reported to be made for placing these at the main harbour entrance. Work has commenced on the construction of an aerodrome.
