TE AROHA ABATTOIRS

DESTROYED BY FIRE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Te Aroha, this day. At 3 o'clock this morning a fire broke out in the Municipal abattoir and had a strong hold on the arrival of the fire brigade. The building was totally destroyed within an hour and none of the contents was saved. The building was of wood, iron and concrete, and erected in 1925 at a cost of over £3OOO, and was insured in the New Zealand Office with contents for £2510.
