WAITOMO COUNTY COUNCIL. / EMBARGO ON IMPORTED STOCK. is hereby given to the Ratepayers and Residents of the Waitomo County that a public meeting will be held in the Municipal Hall, Te Kuiti, at 2.30 p.m. on Friday, the 17th instant, in order to discuss the question of lifting the embargo on imported stock. PIO PIO CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY CO., LTD. RENDERS will be received by the above Company up till Thursday, May 30th, 1935, at 5 p.m., at the office of the Company, Pio Pio, for the carting of cream in canopycovered vehicles as required. Prices to be at per pound butterfat, and can be optional for one, two, or three years. Daily collection as from November 15th to March 15th, balance of year as at present. Lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. Contract No. 1. —Cream from Mr. Mawson’s gate on the Kahuwera Road, en route to the junction with Aria Road, including Tiki Tiki Road, to the end of the metal, Ahui North Road, to Furniss’ gate, Ahui South Road, to D. Mita’s gate, thence to the factory. Contract No. 2.—Cream from Messrs. Laurenson Bros.’ gate on the Te Mapara Road, and Messrs. Helms and Julian’s boundary on the Noho Noho Road, en route to the twelve road junction. Contract No. 3.—Cream on the Mangakowhai Road, including J. Kenny’s, to the factory on Awakino Road. Contract No. 4.—Cream from Aria district beyond Wairere Bridge, including Mokauiti Road, to factory at Pio Pio. Contract No. 5. —For cream on the Soldiers’ Settlement, Mahoenui, or Duncan’s if necessary, and incorporating Papakauri Road, to Mr. G. Hunt’s property, and then on to the factory at Pio Pio. Contract No. 6.—For all cream commencing at Mr. G. Hunt’s to the factory and including the collection from Mr. Tarrant’s gate, on Hunt’s Road. Contract No. 7.—For all cream from the Wairere bridge on Aria Road, and including Paekaka Road, from Mr. Hardy’s boundary to the factory. Contract No. B.—For all cream from the 4 mile to the 12 mile pegs on main road, and including cream from Mr. Early’s gate, on Troopers’ Road, also Kopaki and Aratoro cream to the factory at Pio Pio. Contract No. 9. —All cream from Mr. Mawhinney’s, on the Ngapaenga Road, and H. Voyce’s, on the Pungarehu Road, and all by-roads en route, via Waitanguru and Mangaotaki Road, to the factory. Contract No. 10.—Cream from Mr. White’s, on Ngapaenga Road, via Mairoa Road, and A. Dent’s, on Pungarehu Road, and all by-roads necessary, to the factory at Pio Pio. Daily collection does not refer to contracts No. 8, 9 and 10, or the Mokauiti cream on the Aria contract. Quantities of butterfat received from each contract this last season can be obtained by written application to the Secretary. Terms of contract can be inspected at office of Company, Pio Pio.
