FEILDING SALE. Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report a nominal yarding in all sections' at last Friday's sale at.Feilding. Fat lambs sold steadily at schedule rates. /• Fat ewes were in demand for best sorts, lower grades were inclined, tobe neglected, and only best finished wethers were required for the trade. A small yarding of store ewes was submitted and the demand for any reliable ewes was well sustained and the market remained very firm at recent rates. A few pens of store wethers were submitted and were sold at prices fully up to and in advance of fat prices. Other lambs > were very mixed in quality and the sale was inclined to be irregular, but there was only a small easing onsome lines. Ewe lambs again commanded attention and sold strongly.' A small entry of run beef was submitted and recent prices were maintained. Dairy beef opened well, but as the sale progressed prices eased to compare favourably with last week's sale; a fair yarding'of store cattle with only a fair 'enquiry, but satisfactory sales were made. There was an average yarding of dairy cattle with winter calvers in demand, also spring calving heifers. We quote:— .„
