“MADE ON BROADWAY.”

One of the liveliest and most entertaining pictures of this season is “Made on Broadway,” the farce-drama with Robert Montgomery and Sally Eilers in leading roles, that is to be screened to-night and on Monday at the State. Theatre. The sensational story of life “behind the scenes” in politics provides Montgomery with a role that has the dash and flip humour at which he excels. A tempo that races along at breath-taking speed is packed with situations that are thrilling and at the same time blended with comedy. Sally Eilers portrays a lady of questionable reputation who is the centre of hectic high pressure leading to a smashing climax. Jan Kiepura’s “My Song for You” is the next change.
