"Of one thing I am certain—that this town will lose hundreds and hundreds of pounds annually if they exhibit the same apathy to sport as they have done i'n the past," said Mr. J. C. Mullins at the "smoko" of the Te Kuiti Football Club last evening. The lack of support accorded to all branches of spoil, not only football, was deplored by several speakers throughout the evening.
