THE ROYAL WEDDING

PRINCESS MARINA'S DRESS

EIGHT BRIDESMAIDS IN . ATTENDANCE. (Press Association.—Copyright.) (Received 12.45 p.m.) London, October 8. Princess Marina's wedding dress will be of French material and silver brocade into which will be woven a design of English roses. The dress will be made in England and will be far more elaborate than Princess Marina originally intended. It will be cut on long straight lines without a waistline with a distinctly medieval effect. The court train will be 4 or sft. long, lined with silver lace and hangs from the shouler. The effect will be completed by a veil of white tulle and old family lace worn by Princess Marina's mother at her wedding. Princess Marina will carry a sheaf of Madonna lilies with a bandeau of diamonds round the head. The bridesmaids, probably eight, will wear white ci'epe with flecked silver.
