ARATORO
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE. The Aratoro Women’s Institute held its usual meeting on Saturday, November 4th, when the president was in the chair. It was decided that each member contribute a penny towards the fund for a rest home at Raglan. “A Novelty” was the competition for November, the points being won by Mrs. Frampton with a pretty tea cosy. Community singing was then indulged in, after which a dainty afternoon tea was served by the hostesses, Mesdames Gall and Bremner.
