ARATORO

(Own Correspondent). On October 7tb, at the residence of Mrs. McGregor, a meeting of the Aratoro Women’s Institute was held. Mrs. Gall presiding over a large gathering, welcomed the visitors from Mangapeehi. A loaf of home-made oread was the competition for the month, aPd the roll call, “Household Remedies,” was responded to by all, many good hints being passed around. A library is shortly to be established by the Institute, and each member signified her willingness to supply one or more books by way of a beginning. Afternoon tea was served, the hostesses being Mesdames McGregor, senior and junior.
