Over two thousand Labour candidates are contesting seats at the municipal elections for three hundred municipal councils throughout England on November 1, as a preliminary to a great national campaign at the next Parliamentary elections. The candidates are seeking to make the Government’s failure to cope with housing the main issue of the municipal contests.
