Public Notices. BOROUGH OF TE KUITI. is hereby given that the Te Kuiti Borough Council, in pursuance of the powers given by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, the Hospital and Charitable Institutions Amendment Act, 1923, and the Rating Act, 1925, intends, at a meeting to be held on Monday, the 10th July, 1933, to make and levy the following rates for the year commencing on the Ist April, 1933, and ending on the 31st March, 1934: (1) A CONSOLIDATED RATE: Under Section 95 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," of eight pence half-penny (B£d) in the £ on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property as appearing on the Valuation Roll for the time being in force in the Borough of Te Kuiti, such rate being in lieu of (1) A General Rate of 3id. in the £, (2) A separate Hospital Rate of Id. in the £, and (3) Annually Recurring Special Rates (a) £30,000 Various Works Loan 2d., (b) £14,300 Streets and Water Loan 3d., (c) £2OOO Stone Crusher Loan Id., (d) £6680 River Deviation Loan Id., (e) £12,100 Antecedent Liability Loan gd., (f) £6OOO Streets Loan Id. each in the£. (2) (a) A SEPARATE WATER RATE: (Ordinary Supply) under Sections 84 and 85 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," upon all lands and dwelling houses in the Borough of Te Kuiti to which water is supplied of one penny (Id.) in the £ on the unimproved rateable value thei*eof, AND such other charges in proportion to the above mentioned rate as are chargeable in terms of the said Section 84. (b) A SPECIAL CHARGE of 10/for each w.c. system connected with the Borough Water Supply. (3) THE ANNUALLY RECURRING £3600 TE KUITI 2B LOAN SPECIAL RATE: (Over Special Rating Area) of one and threeeighths of a penny (lid.) in the £ on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property situated in the above special rating (4) A UNIFORM SANITATION FEE OF £2 per pan, levied under the provisions of Section 89 of "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920," upon such properties in the Borough as have a building erected thereon from which the Council is prepared to arrange for the collection of nightsoil. The above rates in each case to be payable in one sum at the office of the Te Kuiti Borough Council, Rora Street, Te Kuiti, on the 11th day of July, 1933. The Estimates in respect of the above rates, duly approved by the Council, together with the Valuation Roll, are open for inspection at the office of the Council during Office hours, up to the date of the aforementioned meeting.
